Return, Refund and Repair Policy

All product sales are non-cancellable, final, non-returnable, and non-refundable unless otherwise stated on individual product pages.

Warranty

Qubrid warrants that sold products are free from defects in material and workmanship. Subject to the conditions below, we repair or replace items in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranties from the original retail purchase date without charge for parts and labor. Most systems include 30-day parts coverage and a 1-year labor limited warranty from the manufacturer. Some manufacturers provide longer standard warranties, often three years or as stated on your quote or order.

This warranty is limited to the original purchaser and is non-transferable. It does not cover failures caused by misuse, accidents, unusually heavy use, improper packaging or handling, neglect, abuse, alteration, improper installation, unauthorized repair or modification, improper testing, or external causes such as excessive heat or humidity, power failures, surges, or acts of God. Evidence of customer-created screw holes, burned chips, broken wires, or third-party repair voids the warranty. Software, experimental or developmental products, compatibility issues introduced after purchase, and non-Qubrid accessories are excluded. Qubrid is not responsible for ancillary costs such as labor, installation, or other expenses tied to replacement or repair.

Return of Defective Products

When a product is (a) within the manufacturer’s warranty period, (b) accompanied by a valid RMA, and (c) deemed defective by Qubrid and the manufacturer, we will either repair the item within a reasonable time or replace it with a refurbished product. “Refurbished” refers to an item restored to original specifications. Qubrid is not obligated to repair or replace beyond the warranty period, though we may do so if parts are available and the customer covers part costs.

Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)

Customers must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization number before shipping products to Qubrid for warranty service or DOA replacement. The RMA number must be clearly displayed on the outside of the return package—shipments without an RMA are refused. Qubrid may request reimbursement for replacement hardware or return of the replacement if a product is later found damaged by the customer.

RMA Requirements and Process

  • Provide invoice date, invoice number, product model name, serial number, and reason for return to receive an RMA number.
  • RMA numbers expire if the product is not received within five days of issuance.
  • Ship returns freight prepaid, include the original invoice, a detailed problem description, and clearly mark the RMA number on the packaging.
  • Return items in original packaging. If no fault is found, customers pay the return shipping; some manufacturers require customers to cover shipping in both directions regardless of the outcome.
  • Qubrid may charge a service fee equal to 10% of the original price for RMAs.

Whole System Returns for Repair

  • The RMA department services only systems fully assembled in a Qubrid facility or an authorized location.
  • Ship the entire system in its original, unmodified condition.
  • RMA requests are denied if extra parts or components were installed by the customer or if incorrect parts are shipped to Qubrid.

Replacement Conditions

Product replacements depend on available inventory. If the required item is out of stock, Qubrid has up to 30 days to manufacture and ship the replacement.

Disclaimer of Warranty

Except as stated in this policy, Qubrid disclaims all other warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Where implied warranties cannot be excluded, their duration is limited to the express warranty period.

Limitation of Liability

Qubrid’s liability under this policy or any implied warranty is limited to repair or replacement. Qubrid is not liable for direct, special, incidental, or consequential damages—including lost profits, downtime, goodwill, or costs associated with recovering, reprogramming, or reproducing data stored on systems containing our products.
